Google Bad Review 1:  Went in for an mot, was told it needed windscreen wipers
Guys logged my car on the government website as failed but as soon as I agreed to pay for them suddenly it passed
However he didn’t have the wipers in stock
Was told to come back the next which I did only for them to have ordered the wrong wipers
Then I had another phone call saying to come back as they now have the right ones only to find out that no one was there to fit them despite it only being 1.30pm
So went home again to go back for another time
Four time lucky my wiper blades are fitted
Don’t use this garage if you don’t have a week to spare as that is how long it took to do a simple five minute job

Google Bad Review (2):  If I could do 0 starts, I would. AVOID. Having taken their details off of BEST OF BROMLEY, 3 weeks ago I booked my car in for a full service and MOT to be done this morning. I arranged a day off work and the garage agreed to work on my car first thing and that I should arrive at 8.30am. Dropped the car off this morning and hung around the area till just before 11.30am. Returned to the garage to check on progress, only to be told that it was in the diary as described but that they had forgotten and hadn't even started on my car and could not give me a time as to when it might be done – oh and an offer to rebook (which would necessitate another day off work). The least I would have expected was a huge apology and an assurance that they would do it immediately. What a poor and unprofessional response. Had to take the car away as I have a disabled child who will need collecting later. DO NOT USE – BREAK PROMISES AND ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY. will be notifying BEST OF BROMLEY.

Had an issue with my wheel. They “inspected” the problem and gave me a quote for the repair. I decided that due to the cost it was in my interest to refer the problem to my insurance company but this garage was not recognised by them to conduct the work.

I arranged for the vehicle to be collected from the garage, to be taken to another site and to my disgust i was told i needed to pay an £80 plus VAT (£96) for the inspection / stripping / release cost. I was never informed about this charge prior. When I delivered the car the employee was on the phone and just asked for my keys, stating he would call with a cost estimate. Not at any point was this charge for investigating mentioned. I called other garages in the area and this is NOT common practice to charge simply for an “inspection”. They then started getting funny and changed their story several times. They were effectively holding my car ransom from release until I paid the charge.

Do not accept that you have to pay if they have not pointed it out to you prior to working on the car – it is a shame that had I not stood up for myself (knowing my rights considering it hadn't been mentioned) I would have fallen into the trap of being out of pocket.

Do not use this garage! Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere. The customer service was completely unprofessional, the staff rude and untrustworthy. They will attempt to bully you into paying. This seems to be a common issue, judging from other reviews.

Google Bad Review (2):  My wife and I had a shocking experience here a few years back. Totally ripped off on parts and labour relating to new tyres. On a separate occasion I asked them about fitting a GPS tracker to reduce my insurance costs and they looked at me as if I was from another planet. Third time I popped by and asked them about fitting a dash cam for me – again a rude and unhelpful response. Now I avoid this branch like the plague.

Google Bad Review 1:  I gave this garage one last chance following previous dishonest behaviour on my car. They removed screw from the middle of a tyre and lied saying they had volcanised the leak. I took it to a different tyre shop following it going flat and my wife driving on it and shredding the tyre. When they went to fit the new tyre they say the tyre had not been repaired at all! No internal signs that it had been volcanised. Very dodgey garage. Charged me for removing a screw which then left my wife stranded late at night. New tyre cost me £95 but all it needed was fixing. These guys are crooks!!! Do not take your motor her unless you want to be ripped off and conned.

Google Bad Review 1:  They are cheating, be careful and ask or record if needed before give your vehicle to them.
I called to book full service for my wife car when the notice Drivetrain. I drive car to the shop and ask tell the old guy (I knew after is the father) help me to solve the drivetrain issue only/ my wife car just serviced from his shop, as the report I dont have to do full service now.
When I came to collect my car he did not solve the Drivetrain but do small service Kit and charged me.
His son told me I can not change from Full service to solve the drivetrain only but he did small service without asking me. They try to find reasons to protect themselves and totally dont not care about customer's problem.

Google Bad Review 1:  I don't believe the other reviews on this place. This is old school, back street garage with a clear plan to fleece you of your cash. It came up in my search for Audi specialist and had these high reviews. I had a problem with the aircon. They told me it was actually the electrics and would cost £1200.00 +vat. Kwik fit found a loose pipe and fixed it for £39.00 + recharge. While my car was there, they told me I needed an oil change. Without telling me upfront they charged £170.00 (same price as an Audi Dealership). My tip: Any big probs with your Audi – go to dealership… However before you go anywhere you can get free diagnostic from Kwik fit or a Halfords Auto centre.

Google Bad Review (2):  Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. had booked my car in for engine light diagnostic. Garage clearly advised me on phone to bring car at 10am. The car was not starting so I had to arrange recovery service and when I got the car to garage at 9:40am , they said I should have got the car by 8 am and now they had no space in garage. It was so unprofessional on their part and such a waste of my time and effort and i would never again use them since I don't trust them anymore. Will have to get car diagnosed at main dealers. Atleast they won't be unprofessional in their customer service.

Wow!! your reply on 10oct 2021 is full of untrue statements. . 1st – my car was not out of fuel and not full of oil and neither did the recovery driver tell you all that. You have just made it all up. I was never rude and nor demanding. I had booked an appointment at your garage a week in advance. I didn't just turn up with my car in a recovery truck. And I didn't demand you work on it immideatly. All I wanted was the leave the car there to be looked at whenever you could. You just refused to accept the car as you said there was no space in your garage. And you actually said your car park was full too and you could not look at it all. So it appears you also overbook customers and turn away some of them.

Google Bad Review (2):  Took my car in to Westmoreland for its MOT & it failed on the emissions, shock absorber & rear brake bind. They told me I'd probably be looking at a new catolic converter, lambda sensor And temperature thing but it needed ‘looking into' first. Told me they charge £80 an hour so I took my car somewhere cheaper in good faith & believing I may have to scrap entirely. Went to the other garage who emissions tested it to see what the problem was, only to be told that it passed with flying colours & there was nothing wrong with it. Shock absorber still needed doing but rear brake bind only needed some rust knocking off and wasn't really a fail in most garages books. They told me first emissions test clearly hadn't been done with the engine warm enough. I asked Westmoreland for a refund as I had to pay for a second MOT due to their dodgy emissions test & they refused. Loads of other people also had their cars failing and now I've got a big question mark over them. Wouldn't use again.
