Google Bad Review 1:  I was recently at this clinic having been referred from a walk in.

During my appointment the healthcare worker brought in a woman, who inexplicably shouted at me for 5 straight minutes. She demanded to know why I had come to the clinic and when I tried to explain, yelled over me that this was the wrong place to come, and that they didn't get paid for people like me. I continued to try and explain my situation to this woman and she completely refused to help in any way, in the rudest and most aggressive way possible.

I had travelled a long way, and waited almost an hour to be seen, only to be treated with complete contempt by this woman, who was apparently a doctor, and yet seemed to have the emotional intelligence of a rusty nail.

All other staff members I saw at this clinic were extremely patronising. One described the previous woman as “perhaps a little brusque” and apologised “if I found this upsetting”. Brusque doesn't begin to describe it – I don't think a doctor should ever raise their voice to a patient and I could not comprehend why she would blame me for being referred to the wrong place. Yes I found this upsetting, and deeply, deeply unprofessional.

Google Bad Review (2):  An older lady helped me (Joan?). Extremely rude and judgemental. She made it continuously obvious how irritated and full of disapproval she was in response to my answers. Don't always use protection? She sighs deeply. Can't remember exactly when the last time you had intercourse was? She tuts loudly. At one point it got so bad I had to actually explicitly tell her I got the impression she was angry in some way and why that may be.

She didn't even respond, just stormed out “needing to speak to the doctor” for the fifth time.

To top it all off she made several factually incorrect claims, whilst rudely snapping at me that I was wrong in what I was saying (it is easily verifiable that she was making false claims about symptoms not being indicative of a certain disease).

Never in my entire life have I experienced something like this at a medical center – I left speechless.

Google Bad Review (2):  Its a real disappointment that the NHS can allow this kind of operation to continue without challenge. The reception area is like a scene from Chernobyl, its dirty and unkempt.

The area that this is in is central, with a mix of residential and commercial properties. However it would be fair to say that although the area is quite safe it has a ghetto feel, as does the medical practice. Clearly nobody in the council gives a toss about the local community.

Appearances aside, the medical care I have received here has been insulting. The reception staff are arrogant and with the exception of one single doctor the medical staff are just plain useless and some are incompetent. There is literally no ownership taken, they do as little as it is possible to get away with.

The problem that the NHS has with slum-hole medical practices like this is that no decent doctor would agree to work there. A better system would be a draft, good doctors get picked by the worst practices, if not you basically end up with Clerkenwell Medical practice.

If you can, avoid.

Google Bad Review 1:  Everyone has been amazing looking after my mum after her stroke. A lady named Josephine Brown was very aggressive and rude I believe she’s a health care she told me to ask someone to use the microwave even after 3 weeks that I have used it without anyone telling me anything. I had spoken to a few health care assistants who had said I am able to use the microwave for patients only and today 3/3/2022 she very rudely said that I must ask and when I picked up a tray to put the food in she grabbed from me and said my mother must have the blue tray instead of red god knows what the difference is after all it’s a tray.

I don’t have a problem with me asking to use the microwave but it was her tone of voice and action towards me I did not appreciate. She had no social skills and very unprofessional knowing there are sick patients she was being very aggressive.

Google Bad Review (2):  The centre is a mix of some very efficient and some extremely unhelpful departments. Podiatry is one which you cannot talk with, absolutely inaccessible. Under cover of the Covid situation they take benefit. I waited full one month for a ‘telephone appointment' , no one called. They are good at sending ‘complaining' letters to GPs. My special needs son's foot became extremely bad because of their inability to treat patients. Bad department !

Google Bad Review 1:  Absolutely disgusting and rude service and terrible advice. I've waited months to see a “specialist” to do a skin allergy test, after seeing multiple doctors to confirm that my skin condition was a skin allergy and not insect bites. As soon as I saw the doctor, he dismissed any allergy suspicions and confirmed it as insect bites, printed off two pages of information and handed it to me without giving any advice. He did not want to listen to my explanation that I have had the condition for months. Basically he wanted me to go asap… DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Waste of my time, will be putting in a formal complaint.
