Google Bad Review 1:  The worst customer service I have ever had! I just asked them to send me some photos of their extension job as I couldn’t find them on their website and instagram, and they replied : Okay, sorry I can’t help.

Google Bad Review (2):  So it's taken me a while to write this review as I generally don't like to write negative reviews however, I feel I need to for this, below are a list of issues encountered.
* my appointment time was 5pm, however I was made to wait until 6pm before anyone did anything
* hairdryer used at Hair bar has only two settings – burn your scalp hot or cold. Once my hair was washed it was being dried with the mega hot setting, i flinched a few times as it burned my scalp (no heat protector was used).
* Janet drying my hair after keratin treatment, again scalp burns due to the scorching heat of the dryer with only two settings with the addition of hair being yanked and pulled – its is what a blow dry is called, my poor hair, so much came off from the brutal treatment.
* moving to the haircut, which was not actually bad until Janet cut my fringe, now i'm no professional but I have had my hair trimmed cut all my life so I know how a fringe should be cut, Janet cut it horizontally in one go, she didn't give it any body by turning her scissors vertically to give it shape and definition…
*at the end, in the Groupon voucher it clearly states £10 surcharge will be charged for long hair i.e. below should length, Jane herself told me about the surcharge when she saw the length of my hair which I agreed to, however at the end she tried to charge me £15, when pointed this out and showed her the fine print, she said for long hair it's £10-15, generally £15…! anyways she took £10 as this is what was agreed and what the fine print states.
* following this awkward moment, I couldn't wait to get out of the hairdresser and I left without being given after care instructions for the brazilian keratin treatment, luckily I have had this before so I knew what to do and as I have had it before I know that after three washes it's not supposed to start getting frizzy and my hair is defiantly damaged from their blow drying techniques..
I know this place has received some good reviews but I had a bad experience and after three weeks since I had my treatment I felt the need to write this review because of the condition of my hair which I feel is a direct result of Janet from the hair bar!

Google Good Review:  I would really recommend Hair Bar for a kids hair cut – they are so lovely, kind and well set up for kids. The quality of the cut is always great, and they are very reasonably priced!
