For similar (quite pricey) service go to the Sun where at least the food is very good and so is the service.

Sharing platter ploughman's – £18, again quite small and tasteless. See the pictures.
We've lived in the area for over 20 years and used to come here regularly. Was a good Fuller's pub which like most Fuller's pubs had decent food and good service.
Really gone downhill in the last 5+ years, prices keep going up but food and service goes down.
Ordered a Gin and tonic, had to ask for lemon (would have taken lime, cucumber, etc), served in some sort of large wine glass. First world problems I agree, but at these prices I expect to get something for my money.
Toilet, when I went, leaking all over the floor. Again, not world shaking but if you are going to charge these sort of prices you have to deliver on it. The Greyhound doesn't at all I'm afraid.
Won't be going back.
Go to the Hope or the Sun instead, less than 5 mins walk from the Greyhound.

Google Bad Review: A friend rented it out for the night and there was a noise complaint from music that had been switched off an hour before. The security came and threw us onto the street and put our stuff in bin bags on the street. Bare in mind we are 5 young girls in a area we don’t know. The security was rude.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Google Bad Review (2): We stayed at Minerva Court on Bowling Green Lane. It was a less than satisfactory experience. Traffic noise and late night partying was very loud. We are a family of four and they gave us only 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 bar of miniature soap for the 5 days we stayed. The location is too far from a major Tube line which required train changes to get to the heart of London. The internet connection was weak and for 23 Pounds, only one device could be used at a time. Some of the appliances and lamps were too far away from the minimal outlets to be of use. There was a pot to heat water for instant coffee but no outlet in the kitchen to use. Clerkenwell is a nice neighborhood on the outskirts of the tourist areas of London, but we would recommend finding a more hospitable place to stay. The people at the leasing office (Acorn) were all very helpful.

Google Bad Review 1: This USED to be our favourite pub in Chislehurst. It has recently become over crowded with nowhere to park as car park is always full. The food is below standard now and they ask top price for this. Drinks are more expensive than any pub in Chislehurst. I was charged over £16 for a beer and a G & T. We had very average meal here a couple of months ago, on a Sunday which was extremely busy. There were 5 of us and no one was happy with the food or the bill when it turned up for £350. Foolishly I put this down to it being a Sunday and being very busy so decided to go back. Food this time was worse than the .last time and it was not even busy. We did not eat our meal , when our plates where picked up with food untouched the lady did not even ask if there was a problem, just rushed off. Never again.

Google Bad Review (2): This is a favourite haunt of my parents, and I have always had a very pleasant experience here. However, recently, my parents, who are in their mid eighties, went to lunch here, taking a neighbour of theirs who is over 90 years old, and they found that the restaurant staff had stopped wearing masks. Their neighbour had been too scared to go out for months, and this was her first outing.
Leaving google reviews is not something I normally do, so I rang up to speak to the management. When I explained to her what I had rung to complain about, I told her a shocking fact that I learnt – that someone who is over 75 years of age is over 10,000 times more likely to die of Covid19, than someone who is age 15. I tried to get her to understand that with this policy they are putting people lives in danger. She told me that they are following Youngs guidelines and are not breaking the law. I tried to appeal to their conscience, saying that I understand that they are following the regulations – but why don't they care? – she just kept repeating that they are in accordance with the government guidelines.
She also told me that they perform a daily health check on all staff – however, as Covid19 has an incubation period of between 5 and 12 days, this is unfortunately next to useless.
She said that the customers don't have to wear masks, but I replied that they are not carrying plates of food between the tables, and therefore won't be breathing on the food. She replied that the staff don't breathe on the food. But of course, we all have to breathe, and tiny particulates leave our noses and mouths when this happens, we can't control that.
I spoke softly and politely throughout, and she got very irate. She said that if my parents are that ‘scared' they should go somewhere else. The conversation ended by me saying that I just wanted them to understand that with this policy they are putting people's lives in danger – and that they would be losing our business, and she said ‘that's fine by me'.
I don't know if people just don't understand the science, (a lot of the govenment information has certainly been very confusing).
Alternatively, it is perhaps that they don't have elderly relatives themselves, and therefore don't care. Or perhaps they just think that we should keep elderly people from going out and stuck safe at home.
Either way, how sad.

Google Bad Review 1: This is the worst hotel that I have stayed in after travelling the world for the past 60 years. My wife and I arrived on the afternoon of the 17th October and were greeted in the hallway by a gentleman who introduced himself as Michael, In later discussions he would not confirm whether he was the manager or the owner. At first all seemed well and we went to our room very tired. After spending a bad night on a bed that was lumpy and had what appeared to be springs almost coming through the fabric of the mattress. We found that the bathroom was very small, had no shelves where we could put our toiletries etc and had a broken shower. There was one hook on the back of the door where we were supposed to hang our towels. A small metal table in the room was dusty and my wife had to clean it before putting our things on it. The floor under the bed was also very dusty. The wardrobe door could not be opened as it clashed with the bedside table.
The following day we called Michael and said that we were unhappy with the state of the room and that we would be leaving, (we had paid for 6 nights).
He became very defensive and after a discussion where he shoved the bed over so that the wardrobe door could be opened, we asked him about the dirt and the broken shower. He replied that we should give him time to fix things.
We decided that leaving was our best option. He then became very aggressive and told us to pack our things while he watched over us. I put my case onto the bed in order to pack, he immediately threw it onto the floor telling me not to put my case on his duvet.
He continued to be aggressive and bordered on being violently abusive, He was wagging his finger in my wife's face calling her a liar. I asked him to stop talking to her like that and he assaulted me by pushing me away. I considered then calling the police but fearful of his aggressive and violent behaviour decided that the best thing was to leave the premises as soon as possible. My wife and I are elderly and are certainly not used to being treated in that manner. I asked him for a refund for the 5 days that we would not be using and he told me that I should not expect anything.
Anybody who is contemplating booking this “hotel” please be aware.

Do not trust booking here! It's very dodgy, threw a guest out whilst checking in because she wanted to clarify the price. Used offensive language regarding guests nationality!

If you want to stay in what is the worst hotel in canary wharf. Book here. 1980s feel and staff attitude that makes Basil Fawlty look like a service-God.

Rooms are tired. Food quality in restaurant is awful. Breakfast in particular is a highlight for being poor – but nothing beats the Manhattan Grill for over-priced junk food that explains why no-one eats there.

This is a place to avoid unless like the plague – unless you want to catch the plague.
