Google Bad Review 1:  Well well well what can i say about Chingford Audi…… QUITE ALOT!!! So these are the types of scoundrels that are working on your vehicles. They serviced my Audi A3 back in April 2017 around the 44,000 mile mark. No advisories on the health check what so ever. Everything ok it would seem but not quite. So fast forward to August 2017 and my car asks me for 1 litre of engine oil. Nothing alarming since the engines burn 0.5litres across a 1000km drive as per their oil consumption bulletins. Then we reach September 2017 and my car throws up a oil pressure too low warning and cuts out. Vehicle recovered to Stanstead Audi who advised sump plug has COME OFF!!! As a result, the turbo is now rattling like a childs toy shaker. So these findings were submitted to Chingford Audi who declined to entertain the repairs. Reasoning behind it is because they dont believe it would of taken 12,000 miles of driving for the sump plug to come off if it was indeed left loose from the previous service. Head of Business Francis Porter says a more reasonable explanation to that occuring would be sabotage……. so in other words either myself or a random ninja had done this to my car. Bare in mine that when my car was serviced, it was done by an Apprentice called Samuel James who by the way, was not quality checked after doing my service. I know this because i stood in the workshop whilst it was done. Being an ex employee to this dealership, technicians were asking how my career at Jaguar Land Rover was going hence me being in the workshop. So despite Audi not quality checking a non-qualified technician's work, they are very very certain with their decision???? Now that does seem very odd to me to say the least. Raised a complaint with Audi Uk who to no surprise have said they are standing by Chingford Audi's decision, but the best part is even if they did not agree with Chingford Audi, they can not overrule their decision and force them to do anything. So either way it will always be a computer says no moment because lets face it, if Audi Uk say no Mr Customer you are right…… the dealer in question wont do anything because they can not be forced. The head of business even had the cheek to say well its weird that only your turbo has suffered from oil starvation and not your engine. Stanstead Audi have stated that they can not check the engine with the level of turbo noise currently present. But even with that in the report, the answer is no from Audi UK and Chingford Audi. I find it very ironic that they can say they are certain they are not liable for it, but are very tight lipped about why this has happened to my car and refuse to comment on it other than the remark of potential sabotage to my vehicle. The Chingford workshop is dominated by apprentices so think very carefully before dropping your car off there. I recall many customers complaining to me whilst i worked there of things being left loose on many occasions. 5 service managers came and left in my 1.5 years of service with them. 2 out of 3 master technicians left in that time and were never replaced. The whole service department changed apart from myself being the only one left from the original service team. They have now changed their manager again, and also their head of business. AUDI UK even had to mentor this dealership for well over a month to make sure they were doing their jobs properly due to the level of complaints they were getting and due to high staff turnover. This decision seems to fall in line with that and now i understand why they had to be tutored by AUDI UK for a whole month. As many people as possible are going to know about this place!!! Get ready to sell your Audi's if you own one!
