Google Bad Review 1: A very unprofessional letting agent from Martin & Co Wanstead ,he booked me for viewing two flats via email & phone ,I took my day off and I travelled 1 hour and 30 minutes to Wanstead , However he didn't turn up to the given addresses .Even worse ,when I called him ,he told me that the viewing was cancelled without notifying me , he tried to justify that he left a voice message for me ,which I cound not find on my phone .
Honestly, I didn't expect such a horrible service and unprofessionalisme from a big company like Martin & Co .I was totally disappointed and he made my day awful and horrendous.

As tenants, they tried to rip us off on the deposit and I had to take them to the alternative dispute resolution service just to get my money back. I would never use them again. I also phoned up as a potential seller and had a bad experience, poor knowledge of the local market and received no viewings compared to other estate agents who booked in many viewings. DO NOT USE as a tenant, landlord, buyer or seller!

Google Bad Review 1: One member of staff (Adam) lets down the whole team. Instructed them to let out a property last year. They did not find me a tenant so decided to give another agent a go. They contacted me when they saw the other agent marketing asking if they are also given a chance. Explained that I had an arrangement with another agent for a week and I would get back to then when that week was up. I didn't like how they kept questioning my decision as it's my prerogative what agent I instruct but let it go.
A couple of days later I noticed that they had simply gone ahead with marketing the property anyway using photos they had taken from a previous instruction. I couldn't believe it. As a Landlord you want a “pushy” agent to get the deal done but these guys are intrusive and cocksure. If they had waited a few more days I may have actually gone ahead and agreed to instruct them but that kind of underhandedness just doesn't sit right with me. Even if it does cost me a few weeks rent.

I found a property and made contact on a Thursday.. said I wanted to arrange viewing but was toldtold to staff holiday it wasn't possible until the following week. They advise I call the next day and make an arrangement. I tried both friday and saturday too leaving voicemails and messages with sales team. No responses back.. I call Monday morning to be told the flat was gone.. waste of time and I hope this review makes people think twice before calling this particular branch. Be grateful I can't put 0 stars! No point in emailing sir. Your sales team made it perfectly clear my custom wasn't wanted. Next time I'll use an English name and see if it makes a difference. Cos the phone manner was shocking soon as I said patel.
