Google Bad Review 1:  I spent over 8000 pounds in browns brides and can honestly say I was extremely disappointed with the end result. The dress arrived into the shop being many dress sizes too big meaning that it had to be altered to the extreme. On my wedding day the point where the neck plunged did not meet the back and the straps at the shoulders were thick because the dress was taken up so much. I didn’t feel good in my dress on my wedding day and hate looking at my wedding pictures for that reason. For that amount of money I wish I had of got a bespoke dress made to my size rather than getting a dress taken in that was far too big.

Google Bad Review (2):  I had a terrible experience at Browns bride. Since I booked the appointment I was not treated nicely.

First when you book and pay for an appointment, you don't receive any confirmation and reminder of your appointment, so when I called them to ask when was it – because I forgot – they were completely bothered about it.

When I went to the appointment, the consultant did not even bother to understand what I wanted and left me there to all by myself and did not even helped me to see what adjustments the dress I liked would need – of course she did bother to tell me how much was each fix if I decided to do any, 750 pound on top of the dress price.

Finally, I did not hear the price of the dress because I have hearing impairment and when we asked again how much was it, the consultant came with an attitude and told me “I already told you”. Of course, I had to explain myself that I can't hear well and she even got more annoyed and told I should have told her from the beginning. I'm sorry if you have any sensibility towards people with any disability you definitely would not reply that.

Bottom line, terrible experience and zero costumer's etiquette.

I almost forgot… they tried to sell me a pearl headband as new/ full price when it was all scratched. Very disappointing and would definitely not recommend this place.
