OUR JEWELRY AND CASH IS GONE !!!
We made a huge mistake by hiring a permanent housekeeper from Maid of London. She was suppose to come once every week and do 3 hours cleaning in our house. It started normal but in her second visit she (housekeeper) said she is taking next week off to go to Romania because her mother has a terminal cancer. We felt very bad and gave her emotional support. BUT guess what? When we returned home (the same day) she was already gone (earlier than her normal hours). That was very suspicious as if she was running away. Few days later we noticed that 24 carat gold ring, pear shape loose diamond and some euro cash are GONE from our house! We contacted Maid of London and reported it to the police. As far as we know she never returned back from Romania.

We don't see any corporation from Maid of London to get our stolen items and cash back. This is a sign of negligence. You should note it before hiring them. Before we hired them we discussed safety details several times and Maid of London guaranteed that they do background checks and they are fully responsible for any stolen items. Now they are silent as if nothing happened and probably hoping that we will just move on.

To me this means that Maid of London participated in stealing and had their own share in it. I find Maid of London direct responsible/guilty as they are responsible for housekeeper's stealing from a client.

Police is working on this case and we won't let this go as probably they think we will.
