Google Bad Review:  I used to love this place, it was a happy memory from when I used to share a bubble tea with my brother whilst walking around angel a couple of years ago.I came in today in the afternoon and asked for a medium tea, I was asked which beads and I pointed out as well as stated the ones I wanted. She then asked me again what size I wanted and I said medium. Regular. She pointed to the example cups on the side and made a huge deal of pointing them out to me multiple times saying that the regular (?) Is a large size – then when I stated again I would just like a normal medium size, she rolled her eyes, laughed and turned to the other two female employees who also looked to me then to her and then giggled out loud. Now to overhear them laughing in what is a busy shop on the High Street is a feat, meaning they were loud, which is why I noticed. At first I was really taken aback, and couldn't understand this interaction or why they were being so rude to me. I get it – it's a stressful environment and it was a hot day – but this does not excuse such oddly aggressive and juvenile behaviour in what appeared to be three women in their twenties. I had a long tiring day at work, working in a hospital to help people like them, and all I expected was a basic modicum of respect from one human being to another and dare I say it – professionalism. If I employed these people, and paid them money to be unnecessarily rude to customers for daring to state twice they wanted a medium sized tea, I wouldn't be happy. I politely stated I would not be buying a tea after all , thanked them and walked out, after staring in shock for a brief moment, as I hadn't experienced this sort of behaviour in a shop before – I mean who is that bothered ? Why would they care so much or find it so entertaining that I didn't immediately understand that they don't have a medium (?). A bizarre and depressing interaction.
