Google Bad Review 1:  I called them for one of their properties over the course of one week. They asked me for details about me and the other tenants that are willing to move in to this property.they told me the would call back , which they never did. After I called them they obviously never kept out info. They asked the same questions again which I replied (one of the questions were what we study, and we study music). They said they would call me on Monday for a viewing. Monday comes I call them…. AND THEY DONT HAVE THE DETAILS SAVED AGAIN. After going through the same questions we reach the fact that we are students and that’s when the agent remembered to tell me that the landlord doesn’t want any instruments being played inside the house. To which I got really angry and hang up the phone. Bad service and obviously it would be bad living with their services in a house. Pretty annoyed and disappointed and quite angry I have to say. Thumbs down

I am a working class family man and I don’t value staying alert throughout the night because of these occupiers.

It is a disgrace that you wouldn’t mediate and instructed your occupiers on the most proficient attitude to be adjusted yet you couldn’t as you never gone to the property?

As a letting specialist you should hold your heads in disgrace and concede because of your carelessness you have shown.

With respect to your other reaction I can see that you have expressed that you will resolve the repairs of the property, anyway I can affirm this is mistaken data. Deepak kindly don’t attempt and trick the public that your foundation is repairing the house for the landowner.

What is respectable data that you can get direct I recommend, going by the street that you housed these people and inquire as to whether there is any hatred towards Ellis and co, I am certain you would find your answer.

Google Bad Review (2):  Sadly the Agency, Agents and Landlord don’t take any responsibility after having failed informing me (tenant) about the Flat’s Fixed Hot Water/Heating Provider E.O.N. and a Faulty Boiler (repaired after having to chase days, that became weeks) I’m now being told by Syed Hussain (Property Manager) I’m liable for a Bill that I had no idea about – I asked in regards to Bills and I was told Electric, Water, Council and any I would personally want as Internet, TV license –

I moved in and set up Accounts with an Electric company, Thames Water and Council.

After a month I received a letter from E.O.N Heat addressed to “The Flat Occupier” I thought was a mistake. I called them and I was told they have a Fix Contract with the Development for over 70 years, they supply Hot Water and Heating, and I was told I consumed Heating and Hot Water and I owed them £90. I can’t choose a supplier for this service, and it’s incredibly expensive

In my contract there’s no mention at all of this Fix Supply of Heating and Hot Water.

I had to chase to have someone coming to check the boiler, since I never used heating – we are in summer – plus I knew there was something wrong the Boiler, it would generate all the time a very high temperature in the whole property and make noises.

After weeks of chasing Syed Hussain someone came in and indeed found a piece was faulty and that was the problem for the consumption of Heating, also explained me how to properly use the Boiler, I asked for this since I moved in and I was told by Syed Hussain to “watch videos on YouTube”

I told the property manager I’m not responsible for that Bill since the Boiler was malfunctioning and also I was never told about this Fix Supplier.

He refused in several emails, and then his final response:

“The Landlord is being fare, so I have to pay half of the bill”

It’s absolutely insane, now I’m having to contact The Council, Shelter, a Solicitor, and leave as many reviews as possible so nobody else gets treated as I’m being treated by Benham and Reeves.

This estate agents, for want of a better phrase, are the following: not registered at Companies House, so forget about your deposit; completely unresponsive to queries about why my flat was infested with mice and cockroaches (I’m not kidding, I caught 55 mice in traps in three days); and will do anything to get you out of the place and keep everything you’ve paid them. Do yourself a favour, and go to somebody else.

Google Bad Review (2):  I enquired regarding a property with Alex Neil agency. I immediately got a call back from Daniel who informed me the property had gone but he did have another one that we could view immediately. I organised with my friend who could leave work early to view the property at 6:45.
We got to the property in the pouring rain and waited until 6:55 (as traffic was bad). I then tried to call the agency. We were told Daniel was on his way….2 minutes later I was called back saying Daniel had been at the property but we were not there and so he had left to go to another viewing!! I do not like being lied to as we were there at 6:45 and therefore could not of missed him.
We were outside in the pouring rain after both travelled a while to get there after work. I also had a txt message to confirm the booking at 18:45 as well as an email (both sent earlier on that day).
I am very dissapointed with this, It was very inconsiderate and Daniel also had my mobile number and could have called. I do not usually leave bad reviews but this was completely unacceptable.
I will not be going any further with this agency!

Google Bad Review (2):  Avoid renting at any cost. The branch manager has rented me the property belonging to himself, so he was the agent and the landlord as well. Then the time came for me to move out he decided to keep £1000 of the deposit for various things, such as “rust on the bottom of the radiator and bases of stools (pick2)”, “dusty window”, “burn marks on the gas stove hob” (pick1), “greasy to touch extractor hood” and so on. Some of the things he was asking money for were there then I moved in. Had to appeal to Deposit Protection scheme and wait 3months to get the deposit back.

Google Bad Review 1:  What an unprofessional, heartbreaking experience. I received my contact to sign today on my purchase, one day after my buyers decided to pull out of the sale, 5 months later! When I was contacting the sales progression team the ladies there made me feel I was being a bother! I have since discovered the buyers were buying another property giving up weeks if not months ago! Robinson and Jackson did a shameful job by never chasing the buyers up! Spencer Humble called me to tell me the sale had fallen through. “Do you know any rich people who could lend you the money? He he”…and, “You weren’t exactly inundated with offers were you?”. I hope I don’t see any nonsense written under this to say that’s not true because unfortunately it was.

Google Bad Review 1:  Absolutely a no-no for buyers, they constantly push you with deadlines,threatening you not taking ad off the market if you don’t have mortgage offer ready. On the other hand, they hide information of sellers from you and constantly delay their jobs. Once the seller changes his mind, they are happy to gazump with the seller and put on the ad again the very next day! One of the worst in this country without regulations for estate agents!

Google Bad Review 1:  Called twice to enquire about a property for sale. After speaking to the agent and leaving my details, I was told on both occasions someone would call me back. Two days later after no call back the property was sold. Won’t be using Robinson Jackson to sell my property.

Google Bad Review (2):  As a first time buyer, I was delighted to have an offer accepted on a lovely flat through this estate agent. Despite being informed by Robinson Jackson that I was one of seven bidders for the property, my offer was somehow accepted by the vendor who they claimed had warmed to me during the viewing. I was over the moon and excited about moving in.

What I would later learn was the property had signs of subsidence or some kind of structural movement. My surveyor – who I had paid almost £250 to conduct a report – wouldn’t consider giving me a mortgage unless I paid in excess of £1,000 for a more extensive survey, which could have just highlighted more issues. As the vendor had bought the freehold for their property, there was no form of insurance to cover the issue of subsidence.

As I researched further, I found that the flat in question had been put on the market previously and I believe the same thing had happened (the buyer’s bank would not provide a mortgage due to signs of subsidence). I believe the vendor of the property had attempted to hide the cracks caused by the subsidence in the hope that my surveyor wouldn’t notice them. The vendor (the one who had warmed to me during the viewing) was dismissive after the surveyor report and informed me that they would be putting the property on the market despite my initial attempts to negotiate the issue. I felt this was unfair and questioned their behaviour. The flat was placed on the market several times afterwards, all failing for the same reason – subsidence.

It soon came to light that Robinson Jackson were privy to these issues but continued to market the property to prospective buyers in the hope a buyer’s survey wouldn’t pick up on it. I feel this was very irresponsible as purchasing a flat with this issue would have such an impact if a buyer tried to sell in the future. It’s also giving false hope, wasting time and robbing potential buyers of £250 in survey report expenses. In fact, I phoned the estate agent to enquire about the property when it was re-marketed for the fifth time on their website and was informed by their staff that the reason it was being re-marketed was due to ‘buyers with commitment issues’. This left me angry as I was more than willing to commit to the sale.

It’s clear the estate agent only care about their commission and not providing an honest, quality service. As a vulnerable first time buyer, they could have lumbered me with an unsellable property just for a bit of commission and I will ensure that I do not use them again.
