Google Bad Review 1: It was an over £3k mistake to employ Tim.
Tim installed a boiler for me in Dec 2016. There were problems with it, when I invited Gas-Safe Register to conduct an independent investigation, they found that the installation is not compliant to building regulations.
The boiler he chose for us was way oversized for the flat, and a complete re-installation was needed. When a proper Gas-Safe engineered visit the flat, they were aghast at the poor workmanship and the DIY way the pipes were joined.
I have zero confidence in him to fix the issue for us, as he is not even Gas-Safe registered and not qualified for the job. I am demanding a complete repayment of the job from him.
I have already made a low-score review on Checkatrade. But at that time I was not aware of the full scale of the horror. Had they allowed me to edit my comment, I would have given him zero score on every count.
I'm going to raise the case to Health and Safety as well. A concrete block the size of a salad bowl fell 2 floors to the ground when they drilled the hole for the flue pipe – fortunately no one was hurt and there was no damage.
