Google Bad Review 1: Room temperature food arrived.
Son & I hungry, we ate. Called following day after work, as working eve we got delivery. Told ‘you didn't ring us last night, our policy is you should have'. After debate, said I was working giving advice. – offered 1/2 price next order, said I have no proof… asked for name Mr Ali, asked full name Muzahid Ali (confirmed Manager); he then said call me if happens again. I replied kindly ‘doubt I'll have to' , he said something in another language (rudely & sharply) put phone down.. cost £25.50 + call. Sad bedside manner.. won't be back – Omrith out-classes.

Google Bad Review (2): I have lived in Dulwich for over 45 years, and I have eaten at every restaurant in lordship Lane, even in Surma many times, however, i'm not sure if the proprietors have changed hands or if the waiters were just new? The customer service was rubbish, waited neary 25 minutes after starting food for a drink, and only after asking the waiter twice if we could have a drink, not much choice on the buffet and food wasn't that hot, lots of grease especially in the fish and lamb dishes so much that my daughter and diners on the table next to us were soaking it up with tissue before it could be eaten! Also I asked for the bill and again had to wait over 20 minutes, when I got my bill they had rounded the £9.95 off to £10 without asking me or informing me which I didn't realise until I got home, although I normally would always leave a tip I think the fact that they rounded off the price of the buffet is fraudulent and unprofessional! Would I recommend it no would I go there again definitely not!
