Google Bad Review 1: Okay, so maybe the waxing is fine. I wouldn’t know as I never actually received the service. I booked online thinking this was a real store – it is not a real store. This is a business run in the basement of a tiny salon. There was a mixup in booking (obviously I must be at fault here, something went awry), but I would never prepay for a business run out of someone’s *basement.*
When the salon owner was able to reach Gigi and handed me the phone, this lady screamed at me. Honestly, it was crazy. I didn’t say more than three polite words, after she screamed, I hung up. I’d avoid at all costs. I’m sure she’ll write a response, people who scream at customers do, but I would never have booked a “store” without a storefront.

Google Bad Review (2): I visited this sugaring bar and was impressed at first but there really were quite a few issues with my visit. First issue was I arrived a few minutes early and could not find the location because it was in the bottom of a hair salon. Like seriously if that’s where your “salon” is then please make that known on a webpage of some sort. It was not clearly marked at all and when calling Gigi she was like why are you so early I’m eating lunch?? I was only a few mins early and I waited past my appointment time and it was very rude to speak to a customer the way she did to me on the phone.
The sugaring was okay but she kept questioning my previous sugaring jobs and also used the line “do you trust me now?” and it sounded like she pulled it right from the Wolf of Wall Street (great movie BTW). She also kept calling me babes and baby and I personally don’t want to chat when someone is sugaring me. She also sugared my chin without asking and it has left me with a breakout I have been battling for two months. When sugaring my face I saw her often touch her phone and she even made a phone call. She then touched my face without washing her hands after this. I would say the service was okay but THIS IS NOT a professional salon. Gigi just has some friends who rent her out a room in the basement. The pricing was inexpensive, but it makes sense for what I got.
She even offered to give me an extra free sugaring service for a good review, so don’t believe all the good reviews you read.
