Cancelled on me twice due to some issues, and when they finally came to the house, refused again to carry out service because the “kitchen had too many items”. House was otherwise in very good condition, and I made it very clear that the ‘items' in the kitchen simply needed to be binned – it would have taken 5 minuets to just throw them out myself. Despite this he pretended like his team would not be able to do this (absolute nonsense – a monkey with a Hoover and a sponge probably could have got it done within an hour).

Before he even arrived, I ended up having to clean a few of the rooms myself (which were still part of the cleaning contract anyway) due to their initial cancellations, he refused service despite having essentially half a house to clean. I think he had no intention of cleaning it in the first place which is why he came up with whatever nonsense excuse they found on the spot. This would make sense in hindsight – the first thing he said was that he first needs to ‘check' the condition of the flat and go back to his van (where the rest of his team were supposedly waiting) to decide. This was despite customer service reps having previously advised me that the cleaners will do whatever necessary to carry out the service, since there is a guarantee.

Extremely unprofessional, ended up having to find another cleaning company and pay extra rent to my letting agency due to Strong Move delaying the house check out.

Consolation is, the customer service people on the phone (not the people that come to clean) seemed okay. As other reviews have pointed out, the cleaning/moving is contracted out to another company. So while Strong Move's own customer service staff seem reasonable – what's the point when the cleaners themselves are utterly useless and unprofessional? Don't waste your time.
