Google Bad Review 1: We have used Storm twice but would not use again. The technicians were very good both times, the first time when we were changing offices and the second when we had problems. They were polite and explained things clearly and did what we asked them to do. However we have a problem with the company's casual attitude to their clients.
1) The second engineer was 20 minutes late for his appointment. He phoned to let us know and said there was ‘staff training taking place.' I expect punctuality unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
2) The engineer asked us if we were interested in cloud based storage. We said we were and asked them to email us details. We also asked them for details of desktop computers which we were told that they sell. We never received a follow-up email.
3) I called to ask for a home visit to set up our new devices. I was told to email my request. I asked to speak to someone in person as I wanted advice on what software to buy before the engineer's visit. I was told someone would ring me back. Twenty four hours later all I have received is a computer-generated message giving me a job ticket.
Storm IT may have competent technicians but I would not recommend this company when some human communication is actually needed.
