Google Bad Review 1: Bob gave me a quote of £1200 for 8 panels fence over the phone. He then came to my house for a survey and told me it will be cheaper than £1200. I have to chase for his confirmation quote which he then came back with £1350, when I asked why it’s more expensive, he couldn’t explained the exact reason but told me he will knocked off £50 if I pay him cash. I wasn’t happy at all but I said ok I will proceed just because I want to match back the fence he did for my next door neighbour. He was telling me that my builder (I am doing kitchen extension at the same time) need to do a few things to ensure he can proceed with his fencing work. I got my builder to call him so they could discuss but my builder told me Bob hung up on him. I tried to call him the next day to find out why but my calls couldn’t get through of which I eventually found out he has blocked my number. When I managed to speak to him using my other number, he told me he has decided not to do the work. When I told him that he should at least have a decency to give me a call to tell me his decision, especially after I have booked a day off from work for this job, he told me he is not interested to listen to me and he hung up on me. Extremely rude which is not necessary at all.
