Google Bad Review 1: The agency failed to obtain my written consent to release my deposit. They did nothing to compensate me for a loss which was in breach of the contract.
I have worked in the property industry for 10 years and unfortunately your response below is incorrect. You can not release the deposit without written consent from all parties. Your Property manager confirmed that they did this in error and apologized for the error. I have been the lead tenant at the property for 5 years and there was change of sharers in this time. This required both tenants confirming the deposit release and the banking details.
I would refer back to your email communication where this was clearly stated and acknowledged by the property manager.
