Google Bad Review 1: I wish I could give negative stars. I am so offended by the response of Scott McHugh that I strongly recommend anyone to avoid using SPF.
After politely and considerately informing Scott McHugh that I had recieved a better mortgage offer from another lender, he sent me the most horrific and offensive email in response. After meeting just once, his response to declining his offer was “this is not the etiquette expected within the UK and certainly not the behaviour of the calibre of clients here at SPF, so I am glad that this has now come to light.”
I am so offended at the ethnocentric and rude response by Scott that I strongly advise anyone to avoid working with SPF. Even if they had the lowest mortgage rates possible, the way they treat customers is unacceptable, and NOT the etiquette expected within the UK.

I clearly told the mortgage advisor that my plans is to buy a property before the stamp duty increase, I contacted him 3 month before buying so we have plenty of time to prepare the best deal, my credit score was 999, it was just a simple remortgage to rise some capital for my BTL parches, 3 month wasn't enough for this mortgage advisor, in result I on lost 2 houses and gave up on the idea or remortgaging.
Never Use SPF Oxford gain and will never recommend this firm to anyone.
