Google Bad Review 1: I have been going to specsavers in kilburn for over 15 years. I have been wearing glasses since I was 9 years old, I am now 30.
Unfortunately my last experience has made me have to get glasses elsewhere
The last experience was the worst customer service I have ever experience to the point I am taking it further to make a complaint.
I had an eye test in October 2019 and informed the optician to read my notes before the eye test to make sure that they are aware that in 2017 notes were left to not touch or edit my prescription for my astigmatism. The optician was aware of this but told me my eyes had changed and that my eyes need to get used to the new prescription even though I told them I was against it.
I picked out new glasses one identical to my 2017 pair. I had no help or advise picking out new glasses to suit my eyes with astigmatism nor did they do the measurements required with new glasses. I paid and waited a week for collection.
In the end I was back and forth approximately 5 times with each time the prescription being wrong. I would have headaches, nausea and motion sickness within 5 minutes of putting them on from all the remakes. During this time I was told to keep trying them out and that I would get used to it. I told them I am not new to glasses and have been wearing glasses for 21 years and know when the prescription is not right.
Even at one point the prescription was made to the original eye test. Also to mention during this time the amount of travel cost and that I had my 3 year old with me or paid for a baby sitter.
On the last remake in late December 2019 they finally listened and made it to my original 2017 prescription. I went to collect the new glasses in January 2020 only to wait 2 hours and be told that there is no record of a remake and that there was no glasses.
They would call me the sunday (2 days later) to find out what's happening. I never got a call. I went the monday to get my full refund.
I am disgusted by how I have been treated and made to feel like I'm insane and that there is nothing wrong, when each remake was proven to be the wrong prescription.
I have also had family members given the wrong prescription.
My advice is to not go specsavers kilburn and to go elsewhere.

Google Bad Review (2): I have been going to this branch for many years, but of late, the service has been atrocious. I'm doing this review while I'm on hold, which has been for the last 55 minutes! Baring in mind, I've left numerous messages and not one person has got back to me. Recently I was overcharged, and I strongly believe my order wasn't made as I've been waiting weeks now, which is why I'm calling. The branch is now closed so I've wasted all this time! My next move is to visit the branch, demand my money back, and change to another branch. So basically, I wouldn't bother going to specsavers!
