Google Bad Review (2): Food was ok but not as good as green lanes or many other Turkish restaurants in north London.
Way overpriced as well. It just caters to the rich living in the vicinity which is fair enough. But this place isn’t for the average person.
Mixed grill £25 didnt include rice which was £5 more. They add service too @ 12.5%. So a simple mixed kebab comes to around £35. That’s without alcohol by the way. Portions very small. My mate got a Kofte for example which was one skewer for £16. Bargain. Including two deserts it came to £76. We shared a side.
Their website menu is also underpriced. Mixed grill is advertised at £20 but of course it’s £25.
Basically not worth the money at all. Not an intimate restaurant for the money and decor pretty tacky so not sure what it’s trying to be. Waitresses and waiters were spot on though.
Two first Turkish teas free. After it’s £1.50 each.
Got no idea where all these 5 star reviews are coming from.
Conclusion. We got skewed!
