Google Bad Review 1: Booked the tasting menu for my birthday and I can only say that it was very disappointing. We have been to many places for a tasting menu and was never left disappointed by it. Unfortunately we were let down by 3 out of 6 dishes we had. See pictures below (please bare in mind the plate size is already small. Now imagine the size of the potato and the carrot)
1. The potato – it was a very small potato with no flavour, just tasted like boiled potato.
2. The carrot – it was very weird to just have carrots in different shapes on a small plate.
3. The trout – again, no flavour or a twist to the dish, just like a salmon.
In my view a tasting menu is a way of the chefs to show their talent and how amazing food can be when combined with different flavours and textures. However, at this occasion I didn't feel that it was achieved and that's why we were so disappointed.
After passed my feedback to the customer service, I then received an email apologising and offering me to come back and try their new menu, for my surprise when I contacted them it was not a complimentary booking, they were expecting me to pay again, after spending £200 for a tasteless menu.

Google Bad Review (2): The worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
Our reservation was pushed an hour before we were meant to arrive, as they said they were having delays with their service.
I had emailed prior to our visit to ensure that all three of the guests under the reservation couldn’t have any pork. We also confirmed on the phone to make sure they knew and they said it was fine. When arriving, the lady who was waiting on our table also confirmed no pork.
The delays between the courses were extremely long. We waited half an hour in between each course, for a plate which of course took only a minute or so to eat. That for me took away from the experience.
The first 3/4 courses were fine, but definitely not worth the hype. Drinks took minimum 15 mins to arrive – very frustrating.
The fourth plate came and although being told numerous times that we could NOT have pork for religious reasons, they brought out pork dishes and served them to us. For a restaurant that only has 2 options for that plate, a meat and vegetarian option, it shouldn’t have been hard to remember not to serve us pork after being reminded 3 times.
We then waited another 20 minutes for them to bring out the correct plates, and by then we were fed up. We called over the ‘manager’ to tell him about our issue, and he was extremely rude and patronising. He did not care what we were telling him and was clearly just trying to end the conversation and move on. By this point our dinner was ruined, so we decided to leave. When we called the manager to explain that we were very unhappy with our experience and we were not going to finish the rest of our dinner, he brought us the bill, and told us he would remove only a few items from the bill.
I want to note that not once did he apologise for how we were treated, the service we had, or anything. When we tried to explain that our expectations weren’t met and we were very frustrated, he yelled at us saying, and I quote, “do you know what, I’m removing the whole bill, just make your way out now”. This is unacceptable. I was with my two parents, and to be spoken to in that manner is not only unprofessional, but despicable.
I would highly highly advise against this restaurant. Just while we were there 3 other tables were complaining to the manager that they had issues with the service and the food.
The manager needs to have the decency to learn some basic manners for speaking to customers, and overall how to manage a proper restaurant.
Terrible, so disappointed with tonight..

Google Good Review: Delicious food at great value for what you get. The “Cooking Hanoi” experience was delicious and I'd fully recommend doing one of these tasting experiences to anyone.
