Google Bad Review 1: The food was edible but it just wasn't good enough to warrant the ridiculous price. Three of us ate a main with one drink; with the gratuity tacked on the price came to almost £180. That's £60…each! The shrimp which should surely be the main event were beyond disappointing…tasteless and glutinous instead of savoury and meaty. The dips and sauces were just okay. I second another reviewer on here who likened one of the dips to tasting very similar to slightly jazzed up tomato sauce! The best thing I had was the hush puppies, but that wasn't worth the £60 I paid for my meal. I wouldn't bother, unless you like being fleeced for Wetherspoons standard cooking. I've got nothing against Wetherspoons, in fact it's pretty good, but if I'm paying 3-4 times more at Bubba Gumps than I at least expect the food to taste like it. Instead the over priced menu has been allowed to slip into mediocrity.
