Google Bad Review 1: Saturday October 27, 2018 @ approximately 4 PM: refused to shine a pair of Chelsea style boots and a pair of walking boots just because both pairs had a small amount of dried grass and mud on them that could have been easily brushed off. What’s the point of a shoeshine stall when the attendant refuses to clean and shine the shoes?

I did not give one star only because I am not shoe shine expert.
Come to the booth around 5:45pm, April, 2017. Pick this shop because of all the positive online review, and the folks in Jermyn Street seem to know this place/the guy.
The guy who did the shine looked tired and uninterested. The result is: I cannot tell much of difference. The shoe, a pair of burgundy calf, is just same as it is before the shine. The shoe is still dry and dull. Again, there is no difference.
The whole process lasted may be 2-3 min. I did not see much work done on the shoe.
I still tipped him, paying GBP 10 for the most basic service that charges at GBP 6 (maybe). I leave this review to let you know your work is terrible. The extra I paid is for you working at late hours only.
