Google Bad Review 1: Avoid this letting agent. Small, very unprofessional and not client-oriented at all. The ways they are dealing with clients are very discriminating and irritating. We viewed one listed flat from them and were the first to place the offer and tried to negotiate with the landlord. (Even just one hour before the viewing, the letting agent Joe Davison called and postponed the viewing for another one hour). Since the agent itself is also the property manager, it is a great conflicts of interest for them to find tenants with some requests. Very surprisingly and irritatingly, Joe Davison was not responding at all towards our offer(neither email or phone for 7 days), and we tried to call him after 48 hours and every-time we called, he only said he would discuss with the landlord but however neglected us at all and did not call back as he promised on the phone. He even confessed that he just neglected us, and he knew some offer would appear as the landlord wish. We have told him plenty of times saying we are willing to negotiate but obviously he just used our offer as a standby to show to the landlord that he has done a good job. Pity also for the landlord, we are willing to pay even higher than the asking price but we don't even know whether the agent has already acted illegally to “choose” on the landlord's behalf since he can easily block all the information. Ashamed to have been in touch with such an agent in UK(as always letting agents are very quick in reaction to tell you yes or no within maximum 24 hours and try to help you either to negotiate or to directly find sth else). If you want to choose him, first check his linked-in profile and you will know why he is not doing a good job as compared to other agent in this competitive UK market.
