Google Bad Review 1: My two daughters and I went yesterday for an afternoon tea and I was expecting a better service and food from this hotel. First of all our table had no tablecloth, which I would not expect from a 5 star hotel. One of my daughter asked for a gluten free. The waiter gave us 3 types of sandwiches for each other. The gluten free were so hard and dried that was difficult for my daughter to cut them with a knife. She complain and later they gave her like tapas. The normal bread sandwiches were soft but the bread did not seam of the good quality. The scones were good and 2 for each other. We only received one plate with different cakes and most of them with chocolate. Was only one variety of each cake so if we want to taste a certain cake we have to cut in 3 little pieces. The service took ages and most of the time the waiters were not there. We only have fresh leaves tea once after that they filled the pot with hot water. The table was dirt with a little bit of jam but they did not bothered to clean it. After 2 hours and nothing coming we asked for the bill. The waiter started moaning and we did not know why. They gave me their card with the bill and put it on the table on top of the jam. Was disgusting. When I was paying I saw that the table next to us received a plate with same chocolate cakes and another plate with more different cakes, without chocolate. I complain about it and the waiter apologise and offer to give us a box to take home with some cakes. When I open the box there were 2 pieces of lemon cake and 2 pieces of pistachios cake. Why 2 pieces? We were 3 people. I paid the tea for 3 people. We were very disappointed. I really do not advise anybody to have an afternoon tea at this hotel.
