Google Bad Review 1: I’ve recently bought a £500 suit from RC – it wasn’t quite my liking, but it is difficult to find good quality for that amount.
The staff was quite helpful and friendly, albeit a bit pushy to make a decision.
The suit itself was of decent quality – good wool, but some of the finishing touches were a bit rough.
However, I’ve later on decided to return it and continue my search somewhere else. What I thought to be a trivial process turned into a huge headache.
A gentleman started inspecting the suit – all fair and nice. However, what happened next shocked me – I was in danger of not being able to return the suit because the interior material was a bit scuffed up – a CLEAR sign that the suit has been worn.
I kept on explaining to the staff that I had the suit on for 30-40 mins max between trying it in the store and at home – but to no avail.
The conversation went on for almost half an hour, with me trying to understand and explain the situation – and just being told that the suit has been worn and they don’t think it’s good for a return.
They’ve sent it back to their central store for more check-ups – and 3 days later, they came back to say that yes, it is actually fine and they will accept the return.
I’m currently waiting for my money still.
