Google Bad Review 1: Not a single good word to say about this company. From searching social media i glad to see I'm not alone. Incompetence at every level. To cut a long story short, i had unpaid tenants (squatters) in an overcrowded flat share. Before moving into the property, i was assured i would be living with two professional adults. This was not the case. Instead, i was living with three other adults, one of which was unemployed and so was home all day with a baby that kept me up all night as well as causing overcrowding in the communal areas. Although aware of the situation from the very beginning Reeds Rains allowed this to continue over six months. All i wanted to do was leave my contract and cut all ties with this company but they would not let me leave without paying a hefty fee. The number of sleepless nights i have suffered is nothing when compared to helplessness i felt and inaction of their staff. The situation came to a head after being threatened at knifepoint in my kitchen for refusing to give the other occupants money, forcing me to leave with a police escort for my safety. Even after the incident Reeds Rains declined to give me back my month's rent or my deposit for a lengthy period leaving me to rely on the kindness of friends to sleep on their sofas until i could save up a deposit for a new flat. I only received my deposit back after my company threatened legal action.

If you are a first-time renter do not be fooled, they are not on your side. Moving to London was a life ambition of mine and their incompetence destroyed this joyous time.

Google Bad Review (2): I enquired about a house over the phone, they were quite rude. This seems to be a common behaviour these days for estate agents, maybe they are getting comfortable with the competition from tenants to rent certain places and don't feel they need to be polite with potential clients.
