Google Bad Review 1: Reed UNprofeessional services. I can't express strongly enough how shoddy this company is and strongly advise everyone to avoid them like the plague. Having worked on a government contract through them, you can expect nothing more than cowboy's lying to your face regarding the handling of your employment and Reed shoving the phrase “IR35” down the throat of your employer to brainwash them into not discussing your work with you, so that everything you're doing goes through Reed. They do this by having so called “team leaders” at your place of work to watch over everything you do. The qualifications to be one of these team leaders no one seems to know. The team leaders have little to no experience in anything remotely professional, used a puppets by Reed as presumably they're the only ones stupid enough to buy in to the “you're not a contractor, you're a Reed associate” mantra they never fail to remind you about. Further to this, they will pull rank on you calling you out if you're so much at 5 minutes late or take a couple more minutes at lunch than you should have, but will happily go on 8 smoke breaks a day and be horrendously inefficient in everything they do. Whilst you're doing your contracted work you can expect Reed to commission work from you to do for them as well, and you dare not say no as they will happily terminate your contract without so much as an afterthought. These so called “leaders” create a toxic environment in an attempt to make people fearful of what little power they actually have, and little man syndrome Daniel from the Reed main office will continuously lie to you about everything from getting paid (which you can expect to happen about 3 months after starting after you draw it out of them like blood from a stone) to the certainty of your contract.

The civil service need to have a real look into who they give contracts to in the future. The work this contract was meant to be executing was HIGHLY sensitive and it absolutely terrifies me that someone who was a filing clerk desk jokey, and a class room assistant to 10 year olds (not even a teacher!) both with no real academic qualifications let alone professional, is in charge of contractors employed to use their expertise for important government strategy consulting work, which is sensored and stifled by people who I can only describe as total morons. This company has total disregard for your data protection making you and your person details available on their shared platform for everyone to see whether you like it or not. STAY WELL CLEAR!
