Google Bad Review 1: The solicitor acted negligently, the firm charged inflated legal fees, the matter was prolonged deliberately so that the solicitor could continue to charge additional excessive fees. Terrible and unethical firm.

Google Bad Review (2): The solicitor did completed my property purchase within the required timeframe ( I guess?), and this is the only up side. He never laid out any timeline or next step to me during the whole process (almost 2 years now), and when asked in several instances, only reply briefly without much explanation. Displayed annoyance when I tried to clarify one of the terms, telling me that I can just buy somewhere else instead. I work in customer service related sectors myself, so I know that one should never give another person a hard time. But then, I also know how easy it should be just to give out basic assurance to client.
He even threaten me through email that I won't get my money back if I get back late to him because their firm is merging. (It took you a year to get back to me, and I'm only a week late. You have my number but never called. Seriously, I have a job myself too.) Can anyone tell me if this is even legal? Will definitely keep an eye on which firm they are merging with.
