Google Good Review: Thank you for our new open plan space in central London! We bought an apartment with a small, non functional kitchen integrated in the living area but separated by walls, making everything small and dark. Also, having a gas boiler and many columns containing pipes coming from above reduced the overall storage capacity. So the idea was to reduce the kitchen footprint to increase the size of the living area and gain a window back, but at the same time, making the kitchen more useful and gain storage. To achieve that, the property contractors removed 3 walls and created a new half wall from scratch, adding floor to the missing area and softened the joints. Full plumbing and electrical work in the area as well. There was no pre-built kitchen in the market that would suit our needs, but a bespoke kitchen was out of our budget, so the property contractors were able to modify the pre-built required units and work around uneven floors to cover the pipes and boiler while increasing the storage. Even this kitchen is pre-built, it fits and looks like bespoke. But the main challenge here is that all the work was done while we lived in the small house. Despite of plenty of bumps in the road, everything was done in 3 weeks, every single problem was solved promptly and there was no wasted days. All the demolition work was done really fast, and the area was left tidy and clean every single day…. We still had to access the old fridge! Some example of the issues that appeared and they resolved promply: not clean cuts with some chipping? No problem: the property contractors replaced that parts and cut them to perfect measure with an industrial machine and re-edged them. Now we have a fully functional kitchen, with a proper 60 cm dishwasher, washer dryer, amazing fridge freezer and plenty of storage for a young family of 4.
