Google Bad Review 1: The reason Prime can't find me, William or Ann on their list of residents, is that they would punish us with made-up additions to our service charges. For that is how they treat any leaseholder who dares to call them out on their lying and incompetence. The latest Prime debacle at our particular development is our professional accountants' rejection of the nonsensical rubbish that Prime submitted to the accountants, in order to prepare our head-lease company's annual report. As mucked about by Prime, accounts that shouldn't have been were bizarrely combined, and expenses were randomly allocated to the wrong categories. Here's an actual quote about Prime, put in writing, from our reputable firm of UK chartered accountants and statutory auditors: “Unfortunately the accounting records as provided [by Prime] were unusable.” How is such incompetence even possible? It's because Prime relies entirely on an off-the-shelf software package called ‘Blockman' to run every aspect of their business. Everything Prime knows about property management comes from that software. Prime themselves know literally nothing about leases, property law, or how to keep proper company accounts … which is outrageous for a company purporting to provide a professional service. If what a client needs is even slightly outside the realm of Blockman, Prime just make it up. And what was Prime's response to being called out at our recent AGM? “That accounting firm's approach is old-fashioned, out-of-date … and probably illegal.” Really? Do accounting practices fall out of fashion? No, sorry Prime: accounts are either properly done, or they're not. Dear reader, what we're dealing with in Prime is a classic ‘toe-rag', smirking at you from the gutter — it's just the grown-up version. “Why did you break that window?” “I didn't break it, you did.” Please learn from our bitter experience and stay away from Prime Property Management. If Laura or others in the Prime team are genuinely good people and worthy of praise, as mentioned in all the 5-star reviews on this site, then my advice to them is to escape Prime while they can, before their own reputation is dragged into the gutter as well.
