Google Bad Review 1: Customer service needs immediate attention

I made an appointment for a T section and a cut, and I made it via their booing system, I cancelled an appointment beforehand with Rush thinking they would get my hair done quicker and a little cheaper, I have had it done in the past with no problems, but my God has this place gone down hill.

I arrived at 11.20 for an 11.30 hair appt with Tani, only to be told your not on the system and they were unable to do me, they said maybe if I wait an hour they may be able to see me but no guarantees that they would be able to see me. They mumbled oh the booking system is at fault and offered no apology or nothing. I wasted my precious time going here and against my gut instinct I took a gamble and went down well never again. Rude unprofessional staff who obviously hate their job and clients, they really need to learn some respect and do a training course in customer service, they are also I may add very unscrupulous and are always charging more or always on the make charging customers more. Stay away from this salon unless you want a very bad experience, I suggest you go elsewhere.

Google Bad Review (2): SO I had a booking for Saturday 15th of August at 1:30 pm

I got there at about 1:00pm as I walked in there were 2 ladies working on hairs there I wasn't acknowledged until 2:30pm.

At 2:30 pm finally someone spoke to me, at 3:00pm someone washed my hair that's when I was told that the price on Wahanda was wrong hence has to pay a further 15GBP and on top of that as my hair are thick a further 20 GBP which makes its a total of 35GBP. (just a reminded the price on wahanda didn't state price from …)

After my hair was washed I was left there doing nothing for another 45 minutes I at least got an apology at that point. Whilst waiting one customer left as she had been waiting for 1 hour and also had an appointment but someone else turned up without an appointment and was given priority. Never mind I thought to myself can understand that from time to time place get overwhelmed and it happens but the spay the staff spoke to the customers was rather interesting a bit of customer care goes a long way.

Anyway so my Japanese straightening finally started I have had it done in the past usually I am told what brand/product they are using about the process and everything in this instance not a word the lady just carried on with it. I thought fair enough some people are just not chatty.

I left the place past 8pm at the till I was told you have to pay 50GBP I was like why ? I was told 35.. finally oh yes 35 so I guess they were trying there luck.

After 4 days I washed my hair dried them and the result mediocre my hair weren't straight but they were damaged. So I contacted Wahanda few days later I got a call from the Manager at Posh Hair saying that I am lying and that he wouldn't offer me a refund and that I would have to come back to get it touched up. He was extremely rude which doesn't surprise me as the staff was no different. I didn't take the offer for them to further damage my hair as I had lost faith so all in all I lost 180 GBP as they weren't willing to refund and taken in consideration that my hair weren't straight. I also sent pictures to Wahanda to prove it. I have never had any issue with Japanese straightening in the past so I am not sure what happened but I haven't felt very good about the experience. Considering that the place was 90 minutes away for me and considering I had spent the whole day there.

All in all my faith in wahanda isn't dead as their customer service is fab and I got some sort of refund but if I was you, and if you care about your hair I would avoid the place
