Google Bad Review: Do not use these people. What a joke. Girl on the phone said they couldn't fix the fault on my cooker but could reconnect the gas. Told that the engineer would be with me between 9-12 the next day. Phone call to tell me he was running late on his last job and would be over between 12-4, engineer would call 30 mins before arrival. No phone call received but engineer arrived at 2.30.
Engineer took 20 minutes doing safety checks on my brand new boiler before even looking at my cooker. After moving his van, a bit of toing and froing from his van and a bit of welding (goodness knows why) he reconnected the gas to my cooker. Then he asked what the initial problem had been and checked this. I explained that this had already been discussed with his office and that I didn't want to go over into the second hour as £99 an hour, plus VAT was a lot of money for me to spend. He said to give him a minute and he returned to his van, lit up a cigarette and sat, for sometime, on his phone. He then returned and said that he needed to cap of my gas supply to my cooker (which he'd just reconnected).
While he had his office on loud speaker, a young lady asked if I was arguing the price (seems there must be quite a lot of that)
After the initial phone call was listened to, the young lady on the phone told the engineer to tell me that they wouldn't charge for the visit but they would still pay the engineer.
No apology from the engineer or his office.
Poor show Plumbingforce.
