Google Bad Review: Don’t come here if you want to save your skin from getting horribly burned, and be faced with appalling aftercare customer service.
I had a brow lamination treatment done here and was left with burned skin all around my eyebrows. The beautician used hot wax (not sure why she even did this as I didn’t ask for this service in the first place??) on my face that was obviously too hot.
After the treatment, the area around my eyes was BURNING for the next 2 days. Pictured here was just the morning after, so you can imagine how much it further got inflamed and scabbed. I had to put aloe vera gel 5 times a day to soothe the pain, and take antibiotics to prevent the wounds from getting infected.
Further to the burns this clinic has left on my face, what really disgusted me was the aftercare “service”.
I had sent an email to Pixie Dust Clinic (with pictures) to explain the issue and requested a refund as I didn’t think I had paid to be burned. They tried to deflect the responsibility, claimed they “had used strip wax”, and that it was just my “sensitive skin”.
I do eyebrow hotwaxing on a regular basis, so I would obviously know the feeling of hot wax especially around my eye area – this was definitely an experience I’ve never encountered before.
They tried to offer me a 30% discount on my next treatment to try compensate for how they completely scorched my skin, but any person who has a brain wouldn’t even think twice about never returning again.
Avoid this place like the plague.
