Google Bad Review 1: The food was vegan vegetarian but that was pretty much it. It lacked flavour and some dishes were just bland. The waiters seemed as if they would rather be somewhere else. The restaurant also doesn’t serve alcohol which made it harder to get through all the above!

Google Bad Review (2): My husband and I visited on a quiet Wednesday evening this week. The one waitress, when asked, recommended the passion fruit cocktail which she said was very popular. During starters and with my husband having drunk some of the cocktail, he experienced a sudden and very intense onset of a headache. It was so bad that he asked the waitress if they had any paracetemol or other painkiller available. She came back and said no we would have to go to Sainsburys. I was about to go when my husband stopped me saying that his head was absolutely spinning and he felt nauseous. He got up to leave telling me to settle the bill for the starters and drinks. As we stepped into the lower level of the restaurant, his head pain got worse and he asked the manageress, Victoria, to call for an ambulance. She refused! She said you have to call 999 yourselves. So whilst caring for my husband, I called 999 three times but got disconnected each time due to the poor network coverage. I asked the manageress to call from the landline and again she refused but handed me her iPhone. Precious seconds and minutes were wasted here by her foolish, unhelpful, dangerous and bizarre refusal to call for help. I got through to the ambulance service and they were on call with me for 15+ minutes guiding me as to what signs to look for and to ensure my husband was seated and not eating or drinking (the manageress had handed him a glass of water). As I was still on the call to 999, the manageress placed the bill in front of me for the starters, drinks and main course which had not yet arrived. I paid in full and then the takeaway bag was placed in front of me. During this entire episode, the manageress displayed a complete lack of empathy, professionalism and was completely devoid of any medical training or knowledge which I would imagine is an essential part of any restaurant staff training. Further, she suggested herself that the passion fruit cocktail may have caused this condition as it contains CBD and VItamin B12. Shocked, I questioned her as to why that had not been disclosed to us at time of ordering and could it have caused such a medical emergency. Then she retracted having realized her mistake and said we should have read the ingredients on our way in as they are printed on a wall behind the bar! Absolutely farcical! She showed me the bottle of CBD saying you could call the company who makes this drink to find out if can affect someone like this. The two chefs in the open kitchen just watched the entire duration without offering any support. The manageress could not wait for us to leave the restaurant and my husband then asked me to drive him to the hospital instead of waiting up to 3 hours for the ambulance to arrive. As I physically escorted my husband out towards the car which was luckily parked just outside, the manageress and chefs just watched without offering any assistance nor enquiring if we had transport. It was a traumatic and horrible experience and I have since inboxed the owner Mr Yuvi Rana on facebook but he has not replied. I gave him a chance to reply before I go public but clearly neither he nor his staff have demonstrated any professionalism nor kindness in a time of emergency. Will certainly not be returning to this establishment and nor should anyone else who values their life.
