Google Bad Review 1: On the face of it, Oakwood is a fine example of junior education. However, when they encounter a problem, they refuse to accept it and pass the onus back to the parents. In hindsight, the number of families who remove their children from his school reflects the dissatisfaction experienced by many parents. Prospective parents should investigate the pretence of the ‘Catholic ethos’ façade that fronts a far deeper-rooted indoctrination!

Google Bad Review (2): Like so many other families before us we had to move our child to a different school for a number of reasons. Although in hindsight that has proved beneficial, it is always traumatic for kids having to leave their friends behind and start all over again. Therefore my advice is stay away, consider any possible alternative as this school track record is nothing but appalling.
Children of teachers, governors and similar (and there are too many of them) are always favoured and pushed forward. Do not expect any justice in case of problems or disputes, you wonât get any. The despotic headmaster is just not interested, all he is interested in is saving appearances and respecting the hierarchy.
The Senco provisions are simply farsical, children with any form of special need are constantly misdiagnosed or dismissed as soon as they are no longer âneededâ?.
Parents are scared to speak up as the retaliation that invariably ensues is well documented. They just leave, like us, or put up with it as they are âtoo busy and this is only a primary school anywayâ?.
And if you think you are signing up to a catholic school, think again and do your research beforehand.
