Google Bad Review (2): Im not sure if this has happend more than once, but something for future customers to be aware of regarding this store and any other store purchases in particular.
My hubby and I made A contract purchase and was made to pay an upfront cost : mine being 100£ and his 150£. We were under the impression that the upfront cost goes towards future payments of our contract but the staff @ o2 walworth road said that is not the case. To me this was a red flag as we are already forking out alot of montly costs towards this contract why should we then pay an upfront cost that has nothing to do with the contract. I took it upon myself to call o2 direct and they indeed agreed that the upfront cost does go towards the monthly cost of contract.why were the staff at the shop giving us a different and false information. I later learned upon making further calls to o2 and chasing up for proof of purchase that the staff at the shop had put down that my hubby & I had only put down an upfront cost of £30 each and not the 250£ that we paid. So the remaining £190 was not accounted for. The staff insisted we pay the upfront cost in cash and were not able to provide proof of purchase as both our emails were written down incorrectly (to hide evidence) as well it just so happend that the card machine was not working on that day. Everything from beginning was extremely fishy. So please future customers be attentive and always double check information and make sure to ask for proof of purchase! Luckily we are still within the 14 days return policy and hope to get the money that was pocketed from us back!
