Google Bad Review: Signed up to their tester offer for a bouldering weekend. They asked us to provide available dates, which we did and told them we are out of town for the later months. They then responded to us much later than they said they would to tell us none of our dates had any availability. Miraculously when we asked for a refund they found availability. Sadly the trip then got cancelled due to poor weather, which in all fairness is out of their control. However, when I responded to receive a refund they ignored my email. Funnily responded to one of my follow up emails which had a complain. Considering refunds take 21 days, then every working day is essential. Also my boyfriend asked for the refund later than I did and got his confirmation before me, so clearly they are selectively confirming refunds which is very unprofessional.
Updating this based on my experience since 15.07.2019
Managing director has since responded saying we “threatened” for a refund earlier in the booking process when they were not able to provide dates that suit our availability. “Threaten” is a very accusive word to use, we were within our rights to cancel and request for a refund.
Then a further email received on 18.07.2019 from the managing director, saying my google review is “deliberately damaging the company”. While the whole time, there was no apology for their lack of responses or only responding only to a complain email while ignoring refund request. They said they processed the refund promptly, but sorry I lack the superpower to know they processed it – because they never emailed me to confirm.
Above are my honest experience and review of how I have been treated, based on my experience I would not want book another adventure with this company so I would not recommend this company.
