Google Bad Review 1: So my wife decided to surprise me with a weekend getaway for my Birthday. So we arrive at the hotel and the Reception Staff were very difficult to deal with, until we had to have the manager come and deal with our Booking. When we finally got to our room it was very disappointing, especially when staying at a “Luxury Hotel”. Towels were dirty, table had scratches and marks. The AC wasn’t working properly, as the room was too cold to stay in we decided to go out and have them fix it whilst we were gone. Once we came back, we decided to check out the Spa facilities, this was an even bigger disappointment. We couldn’t get any treatments or use the facilities, as nothing was working except the Sauna. Safe to say nothing about this place had been “five star”. The only thing during our stay which was actually nice, was the breakfast. By that I mean the breakfast staff were an absolute treat. What made our breakfast a nice experience was the waiter who was serving, I can’t say the same about the breakfast selection. The only thing this place has got right was their staff and nothing else. We Might as well have stayed in another place, as this did not have the standards of a 5 star hotel. Unless they pick up their standards, this place won’t be able to keep the facade up.
