Google Bad Review 1: AVOID AVOID AVOID
Extremely unprofessional. They installed the wrong operating system on my laptop and refused to take any responsibility. They want to charge me again in order to correct THEIR mistake. Apparently they have also used a non genuine copy of Windows and haven't informed me about that, which should be illegal. They keep lying and putting the blame on me! They don't accept their mistake, how shameful! They might be ok if you need to fix your phone's broken screen. Other than that, totally useless and fraudulent. Please don't trust these people with your devices. Waist of time and money. The store manager is extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy.

RESPONSE:

First of all, I explained to the boy working on Wapping Lane that my laptop has a licence for Windows Home but another repair shop I went to before installed Windows Pro instead, so Windows was not activated. This was the reason why I took my laptop to you. You were supposed to install Windows Home. However, for some reason you decided to install Windows Pro again. So my Windows is still not activated and it will cause me lots of troubles. Basically I paid £55 for nothing. My laptop still has the same problem than when I took it to you. You charged me for nothing.

Secondly, Windows 10 can be both Home or Pro. The fact that you don't know that says a lot about your lack of knowledge and experience with computers. It's quiet basic. If you can't deal with computers, please don't advertise it and do not accept computers repairs.

Thirdly, please don't lie saying that you are trying to contact me. That boy working on Wapping Lane called me 1 hour after I contacted both of you on the phone and he told me that he can install Windows Home in 1 weeks time but I will need to pay again. You guys didn't even replied to my whatsapps with the pictures showing how my laptop is after bringing it to you. You haven't try to contact me again. I've been receiving calls all day but definitely not yours. Lying just makes your business even more untrustworthy.

You made a mistake and you don't want to fix the problem nor to refund the money. You are trying to charge me twice! Shameful.

And again, stop lying, you told me I'll have to pay again to amend YOUR mistake.

Google Bad Review (2): *DO NOT USE THIS SHOP , USE A PROPER SERVICE *

My phone screen was replaced here and in a month the screen stopped working , while pressing to try to make it work the screen cracked as it was such a weak screen .
I took my phone back in and they totally refused to help me saying even 1 minute out of ” guarantee ” they will not help. [ They only gave a 1 month verbal guarantee not a proper guarantee. ] They would listen to anything i said , even accused me of water damage which there very definitely was not and even one of his friends in the shop started shouting at me.

I run a small business too and i refund any customer no questions asked if they are not happy , it would have cost him 15 minutes of his time to sort this out for me and keep a customer happy.

I was pressured in to leaving a good review when i originally came here, as i expect all the other reviewers were, he even tried to make me do the review while i was in the shop ! i did , but turns out there is zero customer service.

Please use a proper phone mending shop, you get what you pay for, this shop could not care less if it goes wrong.
