Google Bad Review (2): First, could the people at the back counting money please not speak during azaan and hutbah. It's incredibly disrespectful and distracting.
Second, could time please not be wasted on ransomming the prayer for donations. Being told that 50 people have to pay £273 before we pray, followed by men with clipboards and direct debit forms pacing up and down the hall is just crass. So you need to raise £273 for daily running costs? How about some marketing and fundraising activities? Make use of all of that space by inviting people into the centre outside of prayer times. Instead, we have a 70 second hutbah and the most rushed jummah prayer ever, before being kicked out for the 2:30 group where no doubt the same programme of extortion fllowed.
Is this how a ‘community centre' should serve its community? Do you not receive government funding? I'd be interested in taking a look at your finances – please send me some information on how to make a request to see your accounts, I'd like to know how you got to the figure of £273 daily running costs and what revenue streams you currently have in place. These activities shouldn't be completed during jummah.
