Google Bad Review: I used these Inspectors twice. The first time the purchase of the home fell through, but we had been happy with their service which is why we chose to use them a second time.
Well the second time they missed several big ticket items that cost us over $10,000 in repairs. The biggest thing was the cinder block foundation which had reoccurring seepage resulting in water damage and mold in the basement. Being that we are not trained professionals, we did not know that what we were looking at on the wall of the basement was water damage. We had multiple contractors come out who pointed this out to us and said the inspectors should have caught this. I reached out to Joanne and Ken and they quickly deferred to their contract. They would not even come out to take a look to confirm that they missed this. Another issue we stumbled upon was mold in the attic. We had the inspector come out to look at the basement but looking at attic was part of the assessment. There was very obvious mold that again Mill River inspectors didn’t report. My mother has health conditions so mold is a huge concern and we have no choice but to again remediate. Additionally there have been other smaller issues that have added up to be costly. We would not have bought this home had we known about these issues- this has significantly impacted our lives and we are sick over having to live in this house that is now a money pit.
