Google Bad Review 1: They are so careless and not professional, they took almost a thousand pounds from me overall and almost killed my cat. Luckily we changed vet and the new one saved him for only 40 quids. Please if you love your pet avoid using this clinic. Not even one time i a year and over 15 consultations they have said something medically relevant to my cat (he was simply intolerant to some food and they tested for exotic rare viruses and tests of all sorts (all expensive) then when he was about to die I found the new vet, he was god sent, I never spent more than 50 quids with the new one, these people don’t care about your pets, but they only want your money. They don’t understand how much we love our fur babies) AVOID, I hope they close I swear to god.

Google Bad Review (2): 0/5 Absolutely awful, so disappointed with this vet; not only were the vets insensitive, rude and negligent (not even bothering to read notes before consultations), but they gave me the impression that my dog had terminal cancer when he fell unwell, and said there was nothing to do and implied that I should put him down.
When I went to visit him, he seemed even worse, after they had put him on a high dose opiate drip.
After asking what we could do for my dog, they went on to insult me by saying that I ‘didnt want to accept the facts'.
Thankfully I was able to see an excellent oncologist at north downs vet who did a proper scan and biopsies, which found my dogs tumours to be likely benign and he is now well at home with no medication!
The oncologist told me he actually thought my dog was unwell after taking a medication after minor surgery from the same beckenham medivet earlier in the month.
If I hadn't have questioned them I wonder if my dog would've have been put down.
Medivet beckenham seem money driven, and they need to review their scanning, prescribing and clinical decision making, as well as their bedside manner. I am a medical doctor, and this service is disgraceful, made even worse by the fact that I paid £1000 for blood tests, ultrasound and unnecessary medication.
