Google Bad Review 1: Arrogant, rude, bored to be taking the call. I spoke to 3 different men, I asked for their names. They were all as rude and unhelpful as each other.

Google Bad Review (2): This firm has gone from being a reputable auctioneer to one of the dodgiest outfits in the country, closely behind Bond Woolf in Birmingham and are catching up with them quickly. They are guiding lots at levels that they cannot be purchased to create loads of interest. This is a breach of rules that state a guide price has to be within 10% of the reserve. Lot 11 guided at £250, 000 was purchased at Barnard Marcus in March for £422,000. There are numerous examples of similar miss representation in their recent auctions which is subject to investigation by the ICO. this is why their rooms have been so busy as all the lots are misrepresented. as a minimum McHugh and Co should be reporting a client that gives them a property they purchased for £422,000 at £250,000 to HMRC for laundering.
