Google Bad Review (2): I rarely write online review but for this time and the stress I went through, I need it.
We sent a parcel from 12/01/2021 with Fedex, shorter after Brexit, from Mail Boxes Etc. – Earls Court to Barcelona, Spain.
I paid £209 + £5.95 (custom packing item) for a total of £214.95!
The parcel arrived at the Barcelona airport the 15/01/2021. Despite the help of J. the manager of Mail Boxes Earls Court, the parcel returned to London “as it contained one restricted item added to the list on January 1st after Brexit”.
The parcel arrived at Mail Boxes the 01/02/2021!
J. resent it with UPS the 03/02/2021 but without the restricted item.
It has been worst with UPS despite the fact J. escalated the case to the Head Office. After numerous emails and phone calls, I finally received a damaged parcel on the 09/03/2021!
I asked a refund for this almost 2 MONTHS delay and Mail Boxes and UPS refused it.
It is the reason why I am writing right now, as I am very disappointed with these companies (but not with the Manager who did his best).
I finally used SendMyBag.com last week to send other parcels. It cost me 1/5 of the price and I received them in less than a week!
Brexit/Covid are obviously not the reason.
