Google Bad Review 1: The ambience is good, but service was a let down. Starters were okay but main course was quite bland- no real South Asian authenticity. Average customer service. Felt rushed with our food as it seemed like they wanted to turn tables fast. Won't be visiting again. Unfortunately, the food doesn't match the swanky decor!

Google Bad Review (2): A beautiful decorated bar and restaurant, certain details definitely stuck out to me which were amazing. After being lucky enough to taste the food over the years via many different events it was only right to head to the Dilly for a lovely night out.
This was, unfortunately, all shortlived once the food had arrived. The starters, which I was most looking forward to, were a complete let down. Everything apart from the prawns tasted really bland. Lamb was cooked to perfection but just lacked any real flavour. Once starters had been taken away we prayed our mains would make up for this.
Unfortunately not, the Prawn Moilee didn't even look good let alone taste nice. It was just bland. The Rogan Josh was the exact same, although the meat was cooked perfectly the taste of the sauce, the only way I can describe it as being a ready made shop bought sauce.
The only one thing that smelt, looked and actually tasted nice was the fresh naans.
After all of the starters and mains we couldn't eat, we decided not to go for desserts as had wasted enough food already.
I am not a professional food critic nor a sour customer. I can appreciate a great meal at any cost. But this was something I was really looking forward to. Now if we add in the overall amount of money spent, it just really wasn't worth it.
Left with a gallery of great pictures but also a sense of disappointment as this is one brand I have always admired and enjoyed.
Maybe it was the setting? Maybe the food is designed to cater for people who aren't from an South Asian background as it set in Picadilly? Who knows?
I hope this constructive criticism serves to help improve the food and hopefully one day bring it back to the standards they were once known best for.

Google Good Review: Had my anniversary dinner at this place, fantastic atmosphere and delicious food!!! The staff were nice and kept checking on us. The music was calm and not loud. Food was halal too.
