Google Bad Review (2): At the moment being a new company luxe refurbs has very little or no knowledge about communication.
In today’s world being thick skinned goes a long way.
And to make a successful company you have to be.
I applied for a Business Development Manager role, at the interview stage the talk was very positive.
Talk about how the company wants a family environment, how they would like the big contacts.
The interview was nice and relaxed, I explained I had surgery coming up, I was asked to make contact after my recovery, in fact I made contact during my recovery hoping to get myself ready. Spoke to there recruitment manager and all I received was vague responses about him needing to talk to another member of the business
Which after he will contact me back.
The phone call never came I waited a long time,
Called him again after a few weeks the same response.
Last couple of calls I made to him his phone was switched off.
I know from previous work experiences if you have told someone you will call them back.. you do just that,
No Matter whether the answer is positive or negative whether you are important or unimportant to the business.
On 22nd July 2021, After unanswered calls, I called the company directly
and spoke to one of the main people I believe or as he had me believe.
I explained my journey on trying to make contact with his recruitment manager after my surgery.
I asked a direct question if there was a position for me at the company as me keep calling them was becoming embarrassing for me.
The response was somewhat shocking.
Communication skills were at the lowest
Understand, empathy, none. No ability to have a conversation in a positive manner.
In the end I was told can take up to 3 months to get back to me.
Which didn’t make sense at all as I have been told in the interview they would like to take me on a trial for couple of months.
The disregard and lack of respect for an individual has been shocking. The company has already had failed Business Development Managers-the words of the director, and I can see why.
BDM need tools from the company to be successful.
I will not say which as luxe refurbs do not have a clue regarding this.
From the conversations I did manage to have with recruitment for a new and inexperienced company a experienced BDM is too much for them, they as a company are not ready for this kind of responsibility.
No BDM will be successful with this company in there current format.
