Google Bad Review 1: In my opinion Passfield Hall, did not deliver at any point! There were no bar or social era, just the reception. There was a TV room in the cellar, but the TV was broken, I was told by the clerk. There was one bathroom/toilet pr 4 (or so) rooms. Shreds of toilet paper lay spread out on the floor (ladies room), -why hadn’t anyone from the maintainance taken care of that during the first 24 (!)hours? The rooms were ok.. If you ignored the dirty wall to wall carpets, that’s definetly seen better (and cleaner) days. The street view was ok. The bright, white and over -fluorescent lights should have been dimmed down, as they were very bright. There were no coffee makers or water boilers in the rooms, but there was a basic 50 l fridge, that seemed relatively clean. Except we discovered later it was turned all the way down, possibly for saving electricity. They should have informed us about that. The beds were just basic foam, 70.’s style. Ahh…, and Yes! At 5 pm, saturday night, the allready slow, -open wi-fi came to a halt. When I asked the manager about it, he informed me that they were waiting for a help-desk person to arrive around 6-pm. At 7-pm I asked again what was happening about the wi-fi. «Oh, sorry ‘bout that, but the net’s down, and will be for the rest of the weekend(!!). Don’t know when…». Because the room’s are relatively cheap, doesn’t mean you’d expext anything like this! I can not recomend Passfield Hall, as it ruined the better part of my London, long weekend!
Never again!!
(I gave it one star for not having to sleep in the park on a bench.)

Google Bad Review (2): The one star would be for the location. Bathroom and toilets were shared and having this with a family with a child wasn't ideal. Did the trick if all you want is a bed. Rooms were dirty and basic. The reception were nice enough but no exceptional service at any point. No kettle's in rooms but in a shares kitchen. No one told us this at check in and we just happened to stumble across it. Will not return as I would not recommend it for a family.
