Google Bad Review (2): Wow, I have had to calm down to be able to write this review. My friend and I came here with our daughters to be subjected to a supercilious diatribe on the basis that we had booked were manicures rather than ‘tips’, which as they ‘take longer’ was the reason our daughters were not attended to while others were.
Others were seen before us when it came to getting our finger nails done because of this. We were roundly and rudely told off for this apparently unconscionable mistake of booking for manicures and pedicures although while booking, shellac and gel were discussed.
If the difference is so material, they should ask upon booking but they are so busy asking you to pay cash because ‘we prefer cash’, that they barely listen to you.
As we pointed out, we paid more to get these tips installed than for the manicure, there were four of us getting the service, why did this warrant such flagrant rudeness and simply awful attitude. Some of us found this is unacceptable that we terminated the service halfway through.
My advice is that with so very many nice nail shops all around, there is really no need at all to put up with this awful shop and their fourth rate service.
They are unkind, unfriendly, highly uncouth and unprofessional and probably couldn’t get arrested to do any other jobs.
The real issue wasn’t our ‘mistake’, it was that they only have three people maximum working with so many people waiting, all in a bid to save money.
They charge high and deploy as little on operations as they do on courtesy and facilities. I would avoid scrupulously and with extreme prejudice.
On the subject of money, somebody should investigate why they demand only cash, making costumers go out to find ATMs for cash to pay and only accepting card payments very, very grudgingly.
This is plainly a sign of sharp practices at best and certainly a sign of cash in hand tax evasion; the kind of thing that enables dark practices like trafficking of drugs and people and so the kind of thing that all decent establishments should avoid. I shouldn’t be surprised if they are investigated by HMRC as there were several murmurs of dissatisfaction with having to pay cash amongst several of the seated clientele. Altogether an unsavoury and awful place to spend an afternoon and have to pay for the privilege. Avoid.
