Google Bad Review 1: Had some of the worst service here. Talked to us like we were idiots, slid in a $200 charge without telling us, and nearly didn't let us check in. Also they started testing the fire alarm at 9am, so that was fun. View was good, but you can find a better and cheaper hotel elsewhere.

Google Bad Review (2): Traveling Parents Beware!
We were very excited for our first trip to Europe with young children. After hours of research we landed on the Marriott County Hall based on other reviews, location, and photos of the hotel.
In December 2018, we booked two rooms on Marriott points for a Thanksgiving (November) 2019 trip…basically a year in advance and on the 1st week we could actually book this hotel that far in advance. After calling reservations to confirm our rooms were adjoining, we were told the hotel needs to book the rooms on their own to confirm the room adjacency. So, we cancelled our original reservation with the 1-800 Marriott reservation line and booked again through the hotel directly.
Low and behold, when we showed up, the rooms were not adjoining. After discussing the history of our reservations with the front desk staff, we were told they actually don't have rooms in the room rate we booked that join each other. Given that we spent so much time researching and personally booking with the hotel, we told the host that we don't quite know how that's possible. We were assured all is well and he would do some research and come back with some options.
An hour later, amazingly, they did find two rooms that adjoined…hooray! Sadly however, they were in a different room rate, requiting an upgrade. As extra enticement to upgrade, we were sold on the “very large windows” which would make the upgrade worthwhile. To move in, all we had to do was agree to pay an upgrade charge.
Given that we had literally no option, we agreed to pay. Oh ya, the windows were lovely, with a view of the inner courtyard/maintenance area (ie. Not the London Eye, Big Ben, or anything you'd actually want to look at).
Summary:
– If you are traveling with little ones and want adjoining rooms, I would strongly advise you book elsewhere. Although they do have rooms that connect, they cannot guarantee until you check in, and be prepared to pay a desperation upgrade fee.
